Shield TV can't direct play ASS subtitle

Hi Plex team,

When is the perfect support for ASS subtitle on Nvidia SHIELD TV using direct play?
I can use plex for windows direct play videos&audio with ASS subtitles perfectly, however when using my shield tv, it keeps loading all the time. Any update to fix this issue soon?
Plex is perfect other than this above issue, please fix it, thanks.

plex for kodi plugin works. Ironically, I am using kodi to play plex content…
