Shield TV - Skip Intro button quickly disappears (video attached)

This has been happening for a few versions of the client now. I was hoping it would just “get fixed” after some time.

As you’ll see in the attached video, the Skip Intro button will either not display at all, or if you don’t press it early enough and it hides itself, it’s nearly impossible to get it to return. If I press down on my remote to access the menu buttons, and then the back button, it appears. However it quickly disappears again unless I quickly press the OK button. Which doesn’t work every time.

This has been happening to me as well on the Shield. It seems like the location where the Skip Intro button would normally be (after it initially shows up and then disappears) in other players has the picture-in-picture button there instead.

The only workaround I’ve found is to skip backwards to right before the intro and make sure I hit the Skip Intro button before it disappears again.

I’ve experienced that alot too for a long time. Actually irritating since it have worked
