No "Skip Intro" Option Available on Nvidia Shield

Server Version#: Version 1.25.5.5492 and Version 4.74.2
Player Version#: 7.23.0.13018

When streaming on the Nvidia Shield Android TV 4K (not pro), I am never given an option to “Skip Intro”. Every other device/player I use does.

Is this a known issue with Android TV/Shield?

Just to clarify, is it not showing up at all or does it show and then not come back? The latter is a known issue that’s been around for a few months.

If that is the actual version of the client then it is to old to present the button.

Yikes.

My Shield was set to auto-update apps, but apparently it wasn’t actually doing it. After a manual update to the newest version of the player, that seems to have done the trick.

I’d recommend clearing your Play Store app cache in the App Settings. I’ve had to do that when I wasn’t getting some auto app updates in the past.
