At every start of a video (after clicking on the play button) there’s a short flash between loading and playing:
Also the spinning wheel is changing it’s position slightly and looks like it’s jumping. Please, fix this.
Also i would recommend to use a soft fade in/out when starting/stopping a video (Infuse does this perfectly).

Do you have Match Frame Rate or Match Colour Space on?
None of those options are enabled.

Has this always happened, or only since installing tvOS 14 (which is obviously still in beta)?
It was always there. Does the flash not appear on your System?
I’ve had refresh rate and content matching on, so it’s normal then. However, we can work to improve the flashing prior to playback

Not really, unfortunately. Speaking with one of our Apple developers, improving this is currently in our backlog, but I can’t say if or when this will be addressed
