I have a lot of short movies (old Disney and Looney tunes).
I have tried to create a new library, but no matter how I config it, the movies won’t sync from my NAS. The files are fine and working, and other “normal” movies and TV shows are syncing.
Keep in mind the Looney Tunes are actually episodes of a tv show. While some episodes are listed in addition as “movies” in The Movie Database, that’s not true for all of them https://www.thetvdb.com/series/looney-tunes
I did a few in the early days, but FB handled the vast majority and boy am I happy.
There’s a method:
start playback in vlc and pause it! (before the tune kicks in…lol)
drag the progress to the Roman Numerals-extrapolate the year if you want to look it up on TVDB to get the right name… and/or…
drag on to the title card
type the exact name and make a temp file name for 10 or so
drag those on Filebot.
Note: The name must be exact - and that’s where the fun starts…
I can - it’s done all of them and there’s surely a tool for that, but Filebot has also named the movies and put them in a unique folder named the same and I can tell ya there are about 5200 folders in the movie library and that would be all of them.
The tool would be required for the episodes, but FB did all of those as well.
I’d be dead without it - not watching stuff while trying to avoid it…
