Short not showing up

I added a movie short to my movie folder. It has 3 video files, 1 DVD format, 1 blu Ray forat, and the short. The short is named Lou-short.mkv. It doesn’t show when viewing the extras on the Smart TV, but there are 20 other extras Plex found online that I didn’t add manually.

Why is my short not showing up??

Local extras only show up when

  • the movie is in its own subfolder
  • ‘Local Media Assets’ are active
  • if you have several version of the movie, they must be both matched to the same metadata agent. Try taking out the DVD version and see if the short now appears after a library update or metadata refresh.
