Show missing some episode with new scanner

plex version: 1.30.2.6563

I have a series with more than 200 episodes and there missing some episode.
Seems like there is problem with 264th and 265th number.

Episode name - 263 visible
Episode name - 264 missing
Episode name - 265 missing
Episode name - 266 visible

I tried to rename another series episode number to 264 or 265 and but those disappear as well.
If I’m using format like E264 its good.

This is the only officially supported naming style: https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/

Thanks for the response. My folder structure look like this:
Show/Season 1/Episode - XX

And that’s what the latest announcement says:

  • (Scanner) Files with names containing a 3- or 4-digit standalone episode number are now matched correctly by default (#13985)

I tough’t it will work without “E” before episode number.

I have an idea, but I need to verify with developers.

So it looks like the numbers 264 and 265 are ignored if they are not inside the supported SxxEyy season/episode number pattern.
The reason for this are of course the codenames of the video codecs H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (HEVC).
Many users include these into their filenames. So in an extremely unlucky case it could happen that all episodes would be recognized as episodes number 264/265.
To prevent that the above rule was incorporated into the scanner.

The only solution for seasons with such high episode counts is to use the officially supported naming style.
There is software which can help you with renaming. Filebot and Tiny Media Manager are a few examples.
