Yup, confirmed on the cast. Didn’t actually pay attention to that but since you pointed it out took a quick look to verify.
At least we can get the proper titles and summary info but agreed tat hopefully Plex can get this fixed soon so all the metadata is correct.

This TMDB id is bad data coming from one of our other metadata sources, which unfortunately isn’t publicly accessible.
Curious - is this metadata you can influence or do you need them to do it ?
We could manually alter it in our database but we would only do that as a last resort, in this case we just need to report it to the provider.

just wondering if we have any estimate on how long it takes to get fixed?

Have the exact same issue.
3rd episode dropped today and is missing correct metadata.
edit the episode ordering to use TVDB (Aired) ordering and it will show the correct summary info. the other metadata is still pending.
@drzoidberg33 do we have any estimate on how long it will take to get fixed?
Based on this comment Double plex guids validation for movies, series and episodes - #7 by drzoidberg33 it appears @adriana is the go to person to fix these and we need to wait for them to come back.
The Correct Movie Match but incorrect Tags and Crew (Plex Agent) which is a similar problem is now 28 days old so it might be a while before this gets sorted
come back? as in they are gone? this sounds like a pretty simple fix seeing as it has 1 incorrectly assigned tmdbid that just needs to be removed so a month minimum turn around just seems a bit excessive.
Read the thread of the first link in @anon5074910’s reply.
This is an issue impacting more than just this show that Plex want to try and create a resolution for that does not require manual intervention.

I did in fact read the thread, and that is a different issue to what has been described here. Which was why I asked what the expected turn around time was, the issue on the other thread was caused by thetvdb having the wrong imdb page linked to it and was specific to an individual episode, whereas this issue was caused by a metadata source that plex uses and is not thetvdb, tmdb, or imdb having added a tmdb source for an entirely different show. They are fundamentally different issues that I expect would be solved differently. While I don’t doubt that this has happened to another show, I haven’t found any threads YET that mention this exact same issue.
Upon a metadata refresh this morning this show is now fixed, thank you.

Every episode of Sunny that I add is being added as Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Unsure how to fix.
Most likely your naming is not optimum for plex and it mixing up the show. How exactly have you named your media for the show ?
Your file names and folder structure, please!
TV Shows/Sunny/Season 1/Sunny.S01E07.1080p.HEVC.x265/Sunny.S01E07.1080p.HEVC.x265.mkv
Yeap, not ideal. Try this and make sure to do a plex dance (all steps) of the show …
/TV Shows/Sunny (2024)/Season 01/Sunny - S01E07 - There's Been a Shift.mkv

Plex doesn’t use subfolders per episode.
All video files of a season go into the season folder.
Make sure that the Plex library is pointing to /TV Shows
