It would be good for figuring out why your server is slow as well if a more than one client is trans-coding.
Big +1, I serve 3 others in my house as well as myself, and I currently use Little Snitch to see when Plex is busy, would be great to get a notification.

This is definitely at the top of a long list PMS management functionality I’m craving.
Also +1 from my side
As an aside, for those of you ‘doing it the hard way’, how are you heavy-load PMSers currently managing and tracking your users? I saw mention of Little Snitch earlier, but is anyone else doing something more comprehensive?
Well Little Snitch does allow you to see who is currently connected and the bandwidth required. But that's about it... Still, better than nothing :) Would never pay that much if all I was going to use it for was Plex though.

Ive been tracking it using the logs to see what is playing and my hardware firewall to see bandwidth usage and top ip usage. I also have a policy in place on the firewall to limit the amount of bandwidth plex can use.
Little Snitch will show you all IP addresses Plex Media Server is sending data to and how much bandwidth is being sent. I then have a table in excel that shows me who is which IP, but several of my users are on dynamic IPs and this makes things difficult. Its a pain in the butt. I have attached a screen shot so you can see what I am talking about.
+1, This would be a great feature from a resource/management standpoint.

Another feature with the feature: Add priority bound to myplex accounts. If I am streaming away from home I would like to get priority over my friends
+1 it would also be good if along with fixing the quality setting on the server you could have the server automatically balance quality settings based on your upstream connection if more than one person is streaming over myplex

Agreed, this is a must have when you start sharing content via myPlex!
Does the log file create enough information about remote connections to be useful?
Also; this would be a perfect addition to the new webUI
