Hey all,
So I am just missing a bunch of channels/shows for 1 hour. Here is a picture. Only 2 shows are playing out of 9 possible.
I am using a hdhomerun and via watching hdhomerun’s app I can watch all the channels just fine.
I tried
-epg refresh
-restarting plex
-restarting my server
none of them fixed what seems to be a epg issue…i think.
any ideas? This seems to have happened a few times in the past fews days and I missed a few shows I wanted to record!
thanks!
edit: looks like the following hour is going to be missing channels/shows too…but a different set of channels…whut.
still happening…
Plex version: 1.12.0.4829
Server: Synology
I have the same issue, I have downgrade server version to 1.11.3.4803, still happening.

Hmmm. When I get home today I’ll downgrade to a 1.10 version. I don’t remember it happening then…unless i was just unaware.
I’ll let you know!

1.10.1.4602 works for me now. the newer versions definitely have issue.
I would recommend keeping a hot eyeball on this. If the guide data is the issue, it won’t matter what version you’re running.

Truthfully I usually check every night to make sure what I wanted recorded actually recorded. I didn’t notice the issue until the last few releases. I thought it was maybe caused by something outside of plex. But plex is definitely the issue.
Downgrading has resolved it. Not optimal but it works.
I upgraded to 1.12 and my X-Files recording schedule couldn’t “see” tonight’s season finale. Tried refreshing EPG, no luck. The only thing it could find was some reruns on Saturday when I recreated the recording as record ALL. Downgrading to 1.10 and refreshing the EPG fixed it.
I’m also having EPG issues. Does anyone have a copy of 1.10 they can post/send me? Plex doesn’t seem to allow me to download old versions of PMS

Ahh. Sorry I’ve only got one for synology. Pretty much since release of the dvr I’ve learned to keep all releases (or atleast ones I found stable). Might not be a bad thing to start…the dvr is still beta ish imo. Good luck! Sorry I’m not much help.
Reverted to 1.10. Everything is back in the guide.
Edit: seems to still miss future episodes of a show. Gracenotes for the fail

Thanks very much! I actually updated to 1.12.1.4885 before I saw your message and also unchecked “Enable more frequent program guide refreshes”. This appears to have mostly fixed the issue. But it’s good to have an older, “known good” version just in case. I’m gonna start creating my own archive of stable Windows builds now.
