Shuffled Mood Playlist

So I would like to download a mood playlist, and go out without data.

Lets say “Autumnal” Mood.

I download 15 hours, but it downloads A->Z. Am I missing a way to download a shuffled version of that mood playlist of 15hours worth?

Right now it appears to only have A->Z and if the user has discographies, this can make dry/uninspiring playlists quickly.

Is there a decent way to do this? Are methods like this the only way?

Thanks!

It appears your playlist is based on a filtered list of artists. That means, the playlist is also sorted randomly based on the Artists.

Change that advanced filter to Tracks. That should do the trick.

Edit: I just remembered that advanced filters by tracks on Plex Web don’t have an option to sort randomly.
You could create that smart playlist straight from within Plexamp.
Just tested downloading such a playlist and I’m getting the full random experience.

this makes sense, but couldn’t it just be easier (and more ideal) for most mood playlists to have it download in a “shuffled” order? I love this advanced filtering for playlists and searches, that said, just trying to think why people would want A->Z mood downloads

Different users have different preferences. I suppose that’s why we have to specify those playlists according to what we want to see (or download)

Of course, just trying to think on the default use-case.
