Silence Removal Persisting in Music Library

Well this was a weird one!

I’d listened to an audiobook last night with the “speed change” feature turned on, and set it to stop playing at the end of the track. When I opened it to play some music this evening, it was at the end of the second track of the album. I didn’t think much of it, held down the pause button and cleared the queue. I then moved into my music library, and tried playing some music, but the silence removal was still running (which is very odd while listening to Bach).

On a hunch, I just went back into my audiobooks library, played a chapter, turned the silence removal on and off, and the cleared the queue. I then went back into my music library and it’s playing fine.

I have the logs exported if you want them @elan

Did you enable Store Track Progress on your music library (or a shared library with music and audiobooks)? If so, disable it.

I did not, that’s why I found it odd. The controls did not indicate that Store Track Progress was enabled.
