I use a Mac Mini for a Home theater device and have for 10 years. I recently was forced to upgrade to MacOS 10.13 from 10.7 (to install Plex HTPC) and since doing that I’ve noticed that if I leave the Mac for a while not being used the Apple remote seems to disconnect and doesn’t work anymore until I reboot.
I’ve set power settings to not sleep the Mac, but its still happening
Anyone any help with this issue. I don’t have a Mouse or Keyboard usually attached to the device so when the remote drops I have to just pull the power to reboot it, not ideal.
