Over the last few weeks I’ve had none stop Plex issues… really frustrating.
Currently for no apparent reason my Plex HTPC (also tested it with Plex Media player) will no longer work with my Apple silver remote on my Mac Mini. Everything was working fine and my Plex server crashed, I restarted everything (Server and Desktop player) and now the remote isn’t working.
Please can someone assist? Wha tmigh be causing this and how do I fix it?

A couple of question to start: are the server and HTPC apps running on the same machine (in other words did the crash happen to both server and client apps running on the same machine)? Did you loose all functions or some functions? The reason I ask is did you try re-pairing the remote with the Mac? Maybe the crash caused the Mac to lose its pairing with the remote?
Is it possible that coincidentally the remote ran out of charge and needs recharging?
Simple fixes are all I have for you right now until I learn more, sorry.
