Just uploaded the latest version as my christmas present today :) Thanks for the beautifully design apps.
It works fine on my tv except for subtitles. All my movies has .srt and it works fine with tv default player but it not shown on this apps. I dont have the options to set up subtitles when pressing the q menu button. Normally it will shows in Set Vide Play option. But there is no Set Video Play option.
Where did i go wrong? or this version is still or yet to support srt.
I was able to run this app on LG TV, but I have few questions.
1. I was not able to connect to my PMS on another network over GRE tunnel. TV is on 192.168.1.x and PMS is on 192.168.2.x over GRE. When I tried over WEB browser http://192.168.2.x:32400/web I was able to connect and play video. Is streaming limited only to same subnet ?
2. I have installed temporary PMS on local subnet 192.168.1.x and connect TV to it. I was able to play movie, but subtitles was not visible. When I tried it over WEB I can see subtitles. Do Plex.LG app support subtitles ?
3. I have tried to copy Plex APP from USB to TV, but I don't know how to do it. It is possible to install this app directly to TV and do not use USB ?

I use this client connecting to a PMS on an external IP address, so should work for you too. Did you check if you really have access to that subnet?

Hi, as I wrote, over web browser I was able to play video. When I setup plex app to 192.168.2.x IP, plex app does not start, it freeze, and does not show any content.
I'm able to connect , I see all media and can browse everything but I can't play anything. I click the play icon on the left but nothing happens ... any ideas ?
The medialink app plays all files perfectly, so I wouldn't think it's because some codecs aren't accepted by the TV ... (mostly MKV's)
When I load the app it goes to the IP settings screen. I tried scan and it scans forever and never finds the server. If I manually type it in, I click save but nothing happens after that. Basically I'm just stuck on the settings screen. I've exited and come back in and it has the PMS server saved in the IP entry screen, but I don't know how to get out of this screen so the app actually connects to the PMS server.

For me it is the same behaviour of the app. I think the mkv files are the problem. As i remember renaming files to avi should help. Im waiting for a fix. All other things are fine! Thumbs up! Good job!

Thanks to the demands of LG with adding zero's I messed up the IP.
I entered 192.168.000.010 and now I'm affraid it must have been 192.168.000.10
Since I only have the mouse remote (without a RED button) and the Q menu is not available while running a smart app, I am really stuck.
Hope you can fix this, still eager to look into this, if this fits our needs...

The latest version should time-out and then revert to the settings menu ... if all else fails trying clearing the browser cache as the PMS server address is stored using local storage.
I just did a quick test with the address you have supplied and it times out of about 30sec and jumps back to the settings menu.

There seems to be an issue with some MKV files at present ... This should be addressed once I get transcoding working ...

Another thing I noticed on the home menu previews for TV shows it should show the poster art, not the episode art?
I'm just basing this off the PC version which is how it works. If you have not yet Simon maybe you should install the PC version for reference?
Can we also please have the option to remove the tittle overlays from all cover art?
I would prefer just the art, other then leaving just the season # and episode # on the tv shows home screen only... like the PC version.
