Stevenson-Price When i click on an ondeck item from the home screen it only takes me to the plex app home screen and not the ondeck item’s pre play screen. Is this by design?
This is a bug, unfortunately Apple changed something in the final build of tvOS that broke this. I’ve fixed it and it’ll be in the update after the one in review.

It’s awesome that we have this option instead of not having an option but this seems to be full of bugs and many users are having issues. I wonder if they fall under the same circumstances/setups or something the dev is unable to test. This is the problem with a single developer, having beta testers would be great but nobody had that access (not many at least). I give the dev serious props for getting the app out but to charge $3 US for the app that’s this buggy isn’t acceptable. Should have had it free for opening weekend and a pot of coffee and the forums open to monitor issues to fix then charge when things are fixed by Monday for minor issues or next weekend for major ones after re-submission.
Just my opinion. I would love to hear form the white screen people about their specific setups to see if the issues are close to the same.
What are you using as a server? (Windows, Mac OS X, NAS, etc…)
Any other info would be good as well.
Good luck to the dev, I support small shops but to charge money to try and grab the impatient people is very opportunistic if your app isn’t working very well.
Let’s pull together and get him details so he can make this app right people. I’ll be setting up my ATV tomorrow morning (Pacific time) and giving things a go in order to help if I can despite the price in order to help, I definitely don’t agree though.
To be fair - my stats suggest the vast majority of people aren’t having issues, but you’re always going to hear from the people who are.
In terms of beta testers, Apple is at fault for this one - I filled literally every internal slot with beta testers, none of whom had these problems. But Apple didn’t open external testing until the store was already out, so I was very limited in tester numbers.
I’ve been personally messaging everyone who’s having problems and doing my best to help them out, I’ve also tried to make it clear that anyone who feels the app isn’t working how they’d like is more than welcome to request a refund from Apple - if the app isn’t working how you’d like I don’t want your money.
In a perfect world I could get out the two updates I’ve already written which fix 90% of the problems right now. But sadly the first one is still sitting in review.
I’m doing my absolute best, and have no desire to rip anyone off. I can tell you for sure there are a lot of satisfied users but you are hearing from them less (although I do appreciate all the kind words from those I have heard from).
