Since I update yesterday my plex scanner scans but does not show anything added movies or series

Server Version#:1.16.6.1592 win 7
Player Version#: server

I downloaded logs but dont see how to send them
plex pass member a few years never had 1 problem ,

while Im waiting for someone to help. anyone thing uninstalling server then reinstalling ?
only thing is i have a few movies and tv series that plex didnt pick up so I had to edit most of all of it

You can uninstall and reinstall. It leaves your metadata behind unless you use some third party uninstaller.

Download a fresh copy of 1.16.6-1592 and use that to install.
The website article on Log Files explains what we want.

I never do automatic scans of any kind.
I only do manual scans.
I make sure that Empty trash automatically after every scan is disabled

When it comes to capturing good information for the logs,
and your network isn’t busy, this is the idea:

Please create a test case.

  1. Settings - General - Show Advanced
  2. Check DEBUG logging on
  3. Uncheck VERBOSE logging off
  4. Click SAVE
  5. Reboot the PMS hardware, and wait 10min.
  6. Start a player or open a web client to your server.
  7. Settings - Libraries - Scan Library Files
  8. Wait 5 min
  9. Settings - Troubleshooting - Download Logs
  10. ZIP the entire folder it gives you, and attach it with your next post

On a Mac, the folder get’s put in your Downloads directory.
You can zip of the folder in Finder with a right click and choose Compress
The compressed folder is in the same location with a .zip extension.

TY I appreciate the reply . but it was hopeless. 3 days gone, But the only bright side is I backup all 5 computers ( Make Images ) every 3 months, so I restored 3 months ago and bingo, and I just ran scan for the new stuff. I am so glad, A 190GB backup is woth no headacks,also I dont have the new patch, thats the one that messed up my system . I think it 1.16. something
