Constant scanning of my files

I am a new user, and i am not sure everything is set up just right. How often is Plex supposed to scan my folders? i think i would call this excessive. I can’t even scroll through now playing, and coming up with out THAT refreshing too. its a bit annoying, and makes it cumbersome to use. Any ideas? I copied and pasted just a snipit of the constant scanning.

Enable debug logging on the server, restart the server and then when you notice the problem get full server logs zip

What path / paths have you defined for My DVR library?
And are they any files changing there all the time?
May be there is an error and it is repeating the action - need to see the server logs
