Since yesterday, all of the sudden, I keep having buffering issues on Plex androidtv app

Since three days ago I’m having lot of problems to streams movies in Plex on my ethernet connected SmartTV. It keeps buffering every few seconds and I really don’t know why.

  • The files that I’m trying to stream are located in the cloud. It’s 1080p files between 2gb to 5gb.

  • According to Plex I only need 5.6Mbps to play those files.I made an speedtest to my server and I get a download speed of 60Mbps (upload speed 20Mbps)

  • Forcing transcoding down to 720p it seems to play the file fine

  • If I try to play the same movies at maximum quality on my pc (which is connected via WiFi) via app.plex.tv the movie plays absolutely fine. That proves it’s not an issue with my network**

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the playback on SmarTV o Android randomly?? It started to happen all of the sudden…
