Skip commercials or Skip intro not working on PMP Windows

Have skip commercials set to on (non destructive)
Have never seen any prompt on screen to skip commercials.
I see it on my Android and other player versions so I know the server is configured and marking commercials. Windows PMP never gives me the option.

Can someone please tell me once and for all if PMP Windows is supposed to support it and what I might be doing wrong without the pages and pages of posts!

No for PMP. Features were only added to Plex for Windows, different download.

I have same concern, it’s lame that PMP doesn’t include skip intro feature.
Personally, in Windows, I only use PMP in TV mode, correct me if I’m wrong, but the only one have keyboard shortcuts. That can be controlled by remote.

At this point, I recommend Kodi with Plex Kodi Connect add-on (GitHub - croneter/PlexKodiConnect: Plex integration in Kodi done right), whom now support skip intro.

What is the point with PMP, how many users use it ? What’s user distribution between apps ?
Also, is not possible to add keyboard shortcut in Plex For Windows ? Arrow keys doesn’t work, you only have mouse to control.
Or add features in PMP.

Yeah it sucks. Plex app doesn’t even support display refresh rate changing, which is basic for a video player. Hopefully we get feature parity one day…

Great news !!
there already is an v3 for PMP, look abandoned but there is a brand new Plex HTPC app; Introducing Plex HTPC!
I’m just testing it, skip intro works !

Obviously it’s a beta version, I’m conscious it will have some issue, test in progress and see if it can be in usable.
