Any time the skip intro button comes up, it works properly.
Once the button leaves or you move to access the navigation controls, the button is no longer accessible. It kinda flashes and leaves a half-second after the navigation controls do.
This is present on Android-TV and Fire-TV, but oddly it works correctly on Android Mobile.
We are aware of the issue.

the status is that we know about it and are looking into it as was intimated above.
All the post where folks were providing no extra info were deleted.
likewise with apple tv if you like barely touch the touchpad area in the remote control the skip intro button disappears you have to rewind to get it to show again.
Is this a new approach to support? Im (possibly wrongly) assuming here that “no extra info” equates to no logs etc…?
If it is a new approach, it feels a lot like censorship.
Personally, it feels like they were upset that I tagged developers and called them out for letting bugs languish if you DON’T tag developers/employees.
Also having this issue. On my Sony TV, the Skip Intro button moves to be accessible in a different location below the progress/time bar, but on the Shield 2019 it disappears completely.
This seemed fixed for a few days. The skip intro button was showing up on the navigation controls to the right of the skip 30 seconds button. Now it is back to being behind the navigation controls and only showing up for half a second after the controls fade.
