Skip Intro Missing for Users

Server Version#: 1.43.0.10492
Player Version#: 1.112.0.359-0d79a49f

I paid for a Lifetime Plex Pass, but all of my end users no longer have the ability to skip intros despite my Plex Pass applied to my server instance. Can you please let me know how to fix this issue? I paid good money for this and am confused why this feature is no longer available.

Tip! : To analyze and detect television show “intros” and for them to be available for users requires a Plex Pass subscription for Plex Media Server admin account. The ability to skip intros during playback requires a Plex Pass for the Plex account used in the player app (or be in the Plex Home where the home admin has Plex Pass).

What an unfortunate backpedal. My users are now forced to pay money for the platform to get the features that I’ve already paid for. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

There is no backpedaling involved here. It is not available for all your shared users. Has been that way for years.

It is however supposed to be available to all users who have been invited into your Plex Home. That applies automatically to all managed user accounts, but also regular user accounts, who have been explicitly invited (and have accepted that invitation).

If you have such a user and it’s not available to them, that would be a bug.
