I used to be able to skip to the next/previous episode of whatever I’m watching via the official Xbox One remote with a single button press. I think it’s been like this for a couple of months now. Now I have to navigate up to the arrows at the top of the screen to do it.
Is this something that was removed? Will it be put back in?
Just wanted to confirm that this is indeet not working anymore.
BUT, I believe this was removed intentionally as the left and wright arrow key is now used for the button navigation.
Maybe in the future the rewind/forward buttons on the official remote could be used for that.
I don’t understand why they would remove that intentionally. Did someone at Plex think that pressing 3 buttons to do the same job that used to be able to be done pressing one button was a good idea?
I can tell you that this wasn’t intentionally removed and if it’s not working then it’s a regression, apologies. Will file internally to look at.
I see the latest update didn’t fix it. I would have thought 5 months was enough time to fix it.
Wow. 9 months has passed, we’ve had 3 updates in that time and it still hasn’t been fixed.
It’s now been a year and a half since I first reported this, and it still hasn’t been fixed.
Not only that, the arrows now don’t go between episodes anymore.
I can see that you just don’t care. It’s just as well I’m not required to pay for a Plex Pass to use it.
If I find something better, I’ll be switching away from Plex.
Tbh man they should remove the. We support xbox one tab, cuz it’s utterly useless for that platform. Its slower than an USB stick. if you use .srt I simply does not work on xbox. Just stream from a AppleTv Ipad, Nvdia shield and even roku, and it works fine.
