I have a problem where whenever I skip into a TV Show episode like 2 mins ahead, it will start buffering and wont stop, but when I click off the TV Show and start playing it again, it will continue as normal.
essentially skipping ahead requires me to go off the episode and back into it, i’ve noticed this on my samsung TV and the PS5 application for plex, I believe it also happens with anything I watch, even movies.
My internet is really great, I have an ASUS router with local networking 1Gbps and I have 2Gbps up/down from my ISP (even though this shouldn’t matter with local playback)
any tips or tricks I can try to help resolve this?
