I use the skip ahead feature to skip through commercials, but after a few clicks, it starts buffering on every skip forward. I am using a i7 PC (Windows) as the server (with Nvidia GPU - although it is not trans-coding), and a Shield (both new version, and 2nd gen). Is there a way to fix this? I assume it is because it isn’t caching enough data. Oh, one Shield is wired, and one is WiFi, bot VERY solid connections (I am a network engineer by trade). All on the same subnet.
Not interested in Plex’s commercial cutting, as it is not accurate enough. I wish Plex would support EDL files, but that is another topic altogether!
