I upgraded my Windows PC a while ago to 1.32.7.7484 (15th Sep I think) through the normal prompt within PMS.
I now notice releases to the beta channel that are for example 1.32.6.7557 - my PMS does not see this as an upgrade for obvious reasons.
If I go to the actual download Plex page I get offered 1.32.6.7557 - apparently an older version tham mine although released to the beta channel after the release I am running!
I can not even find the email with the release version (I get them all) that I am now running.
Can anyone enlighten me as to: will this sort itself out/do I need to do anything?
Build 1.32.7.7484 was bad and was pulled. However the plex server does not deal with rollbacks very well in the prompt that notifies you on new builds if you installed the bad one.
So, 1.32.7.7484 is bad. Go grab the latest beta or public build from the usual download location, which will be 1.32.6.xxxx and downgrade to that. Then you’ll be fine.
I just noticed this also (my PR4100 NAS also stuck on 1.32.7.7484) and JUST saw this thread BUT now there is a beta that is newer ( 1.32.7.7571) so is the safer thing to find the older 1.32.6.* build and downgrade OR upgrade to the 1.32.7.7571 build?
I’m sure the plex staff will confirm this but 1.32.7.7571 contains consolidated fixes to fix the bad build which was pulled as well as everything else subsequently delivered as part of the release notes.
So you’ll be okay just upgrading to 1.32.7.7571 which came out today from the build you have installed.
