Small Bugs

Good evening, was uploading content this morning and Plex webpage froze up. I refreshed the page and now my movie collections are no longer in line with “All” “By title” but still exist in the collections folder and show in line the Plex app on my TV. Didn’t think much of it since no content was lost. Now I notice the side bar to bring you to movies in “L” drop me in another letter. It consistently does it no matter the letter picked. Again, its only a Plex webpage issue.
I have checked all my settings several times. Logged in and out several times. Is this issue just something i am going through or is anyone else having this issue?
Thanks.

Maybe this problem with Plex Web?: Plex Web Library Issue

Thanks, Don’t know how i didn’t see the reply. Oddly adding content this morning as been hit or miss and running sluggish. Just need to be patient now and let them figure it out. Cheers.

Update. Looks think the collections and search are back to working properly but now there is an issue with uploading content. The movies want to upload and disappear after being recognized by Plex movie agent. Move count doesn’t change and no matter what you change the name to. It will not accept new additions. Not sure if you are part of the Admin/support team but figured i would get the issue out there for the right parties to work on it. Cheers

Plex updated Plex Web (app.plex.tv) to address the problem with collections.

Announcement: Plex Web - #432 by thealmarques

Do you have Plex set to hide movies in collections?

If so, when a library is sorted by title, the number count at the top of the page will not increase when media is added to a collection.

Sort the library by Date Added (or anything other than title). That will show the number of movies in the library.

You can change how collections are displayed in the Library settings.

  1. Edit the library
  2. Advanced
  3. Collections = Disabled / Hide Items in Collections / Show Collections & Items

Mentioning issues here is the right process.
