Creating Smart Collections via the Web browser Interface
When I get around 30 filters for a TVShows Library my collection appears to stop adding the newly filtered shows. Then the collection stops working and even the icon under Collections stops responding and becomes inaccessible and I get an error. I deleted the Smart Collection and recreated it and it happened again. Maybe 32 is the maximum, or? I would think it would just not allow me to create more, not corrupt it or what ever its doing.
I found the issue. After saving a smart collection filter using the Any filter, when I go back in to add a new filter line it is defaulting to All instead of any and once you add anything that doesn’t fit both criteria, which not much of mine do except maybe “the”, after you save it, that collection is broken and I get this error if trying to play, and it also stops showing images. My guess is should show a warning or something so you can fix the filter. After a few more edits to an existing smart collection I am finding only sometimes it changes the filter to “All”. Not sure what thats all about. -Bill
