I recently learned how to create “smart collections”. Very cool feature…especially once they expose things like audio types to the filters!
However, in my “learning” I mistakenly made a smart collection that contained my ENTIRE movie library somehow. I deleted the collection but it stuck. If I click on the “collections” option at the top of my library screen it just lists my entire library. I went into Tautulli and looked at my library (and entire server) stats and made sure I deleted ALL collections that existed in that library. That made the “Collections” tab go away once I restarted the server.
So starting from scratch with no collections at all I created a new Smart Collection. It immediately found 47 titles that matched my filter. I saved it as the desired name and went back to my library. Restarting the server again made the “Collections” tab reappear as expected. If I click on it, ALL my movies are once again there.
If I look in the “Collections” tab or the “Library” tab they both show the newly created collection I made within the library as if I have two “Library” tabs.
If I go to the library and try to filter it by “Collection” it doesn’t show any there.
I’m at a loss. If anyone has an idea what could be causing this I’m all ears! Thanks!
