I’ve created a smart playlist some time ago with all music in it that I hadn’t played in plex (using the filter track plays < 1). This resulted in a playlist of 66 days. I play a few tracks everyday but that counter never went down.
So after a few months I decided to create a new playlist with the same filter so see if there was a difference or those 66 days were still the exact duration of my playlist.
The new playlist only lasts for 28 days. That got me thinking that my smart playlist might not be updated.
So what could go wrong here? the whole idea of smart playlists is that they automatically update right?
Nah you have the right idea for how this is supposed to work.
I do that with recently added episodes and it dynamically updates itself.
I did just test this and experienced the same result you reported where after a track is played it is not removed from the playlist.
What version are you running?
My server version is 1.11.3.4803.
Maybe I’m not understanding, but if your filter is plays > 0, why would the list decrease?

Ok, I think this is a bug. Let me confirm.
Yeah I used is equal to 0 cause less than 0 made no sense but had same results.
