Smart playlist tracks rated with any rating (not unrated)

Server Version#: 1.32.0.6973

I want to create a dynamic playlist of all tracks in the library with ANY rating (but not NO rating)
I can’t seem to find a way!
In plexamp I can create a playlist of tracks WITH ‘no rating’ but I can’t invert that.

The best I can do is tracks with rating greater than 1

It is possible to add >= ?

My only solution is to NOT use 1 star rating but that seems a little backwards to achieve my goal.

I have 33k tracks and there are a lot that are there for reference purposes but not ones I want to listen to for fun!

Actually, Plex supports half-stars. If you don’t assign half stars yourself, you can filter for
greater than 0,5 stars

I have found a hack - I can set to date rated to greater than 01-01-0001
Not ideal, but I guess that works!

Nice idea - but I can’t see how to set the filter to half stars in the web interface or in plexamp.
I can’t seem to edit filters at all in plex android app

Just move your mouse pointer very slowly from the left over the first star

Half stars are only available in Plexamp filters if you switch the rating system to “5 stars with half-stars” in the plexamp preferences.

Thank you - I managed to get that to work using plexamp on my android phone.
I still can’t make that work on the web interface (tried in Vivaldi and Chrome) but I guess that doesn’t matter now.

Is there a spearate half star setting on web interface?

No, there isn’t. It should be possible by default.
I can only assume that your mouse is not very sensitive and cannot perform fine movements well.

I’m a web developer with a good mouse & mouse skills  I’m pretty sure it just isn’t working for me.
Like I said though, I guess it doesn’t matter too much as I have achieved my goal.
I like Plex a lot and happy to help be supportive and debug if you want to though.

It doesn’t look like half-stars is possible in Plex Web. The tiniest movement between stars and it’s either all or nothing.

It is possible. See my screenshot. It isn’t doctored or anything.
Made with the hosted web app.

Hmm, that’s weird. I’ve tried it with Firefox and Vivaldi browsers on Linux Mint, and Chrome and MS Edge on Windows 10, and none of them will do half-stars. I’ve done far more precise work in Lightroom, so I don’t think it’s the mouse. I also zoomed the browser so the rating stars are huge, and it still will only do whole stars.

I tried with the hosted (4.105.2) and bundled (4.100.1) apps.

I will have to ask if that ability is restricted somehow.
