2: Recording are still not in there own Library folder, I hate them being mix in the TV Show or Movie Libraries, I want them in Recording Library folder separate from my rip media :# .

I’ve posted throughout the forum that the grid view is coming soon. It is currently being worked on. This post is pinned to the top of the DVR & Live TV forum category. It provides some background info on why it hasn’t landed yet.

As @chapindad mentioned, you can choose which TV library you want a recording to be aded to, when you schedule the recording. If you want a DVR specific library, create it beforehand and then update your scheduled recordings to save to that one.
yes I saw that kinoCharlino surely by now you have something put together by now surely it can’t be that hard to add.
There no way to add only one library and call it just Recording in it own specific folder like say E:\My Recording\ and add G:\My Recording\ which cover all DVR TV recording for both Movie and TV Show group in one library as the way you have it now I end up with 2 Recording library one Movie and one TV Show this not how it should be.
My server I have has mulit drive
3 Drives: Blu-ray/DVD rip
1 Drive: TV Show rip
1 Mics: Covering Photo, Audio Music, Music Video and Home Movie
2 Drives: This just for Recording across both drives

Ok I think I see what you’re trying to do now. Just so I understand for sure, you want to have 1 library that contains DVR’ed recordings of TV shows and movies. Current functionality requires you create a “movies” library for movies and a separate “TV show” library for TV shows. I’ll pass on the suggestion.

I really don’t care for that as I have redo my Library which would then make it incompatible with the other software that test with min other TV tuner and Capture card hardware.

1: TV Recording
2: Movies
3: TV Shows or TV Series
4: Music
5: Music Video
6: Photos or Pictures
7: Home Video or Other Video

1: TV Recording (This cover both TV Show and Movie record from ATSC or Capture device)

5: Music Video (You like MTV and VH1 Music Video I don’t care for that article link)

Yes I know and little bit unhappy about them making a big deal out of the EPG grid view but then they just turn around and add Comskip jee did some there forget about all the law suit with Replay TV and Dishnetwork.
Plex isn’t a broadcaster like Dish is.
