Solved: Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error

Player Version#: Plex Web 4.34.4

Last night I had a number of titles refuse to play with conversion failed message. On the Apple TV, the error was very quick to appear. On the Plex web, which i tried this morning for one of the titles, not so much. Once I clicked in the window, then the error would appear. This does not appear to be player specific. Joker, is the movie I reproduced the error on this morning around 7:30am EST. I have the logs, but would prefer to not post them, if I can send it to a direct message, I would prefer that. Let me know.

Guess they are busy with other issues. Sure wish I wasn’t getting this so often.i think I’m permanently off the beta channel…

Changed my default Transcoder directory in server settings to an SSD. This seems to have solved my problem. I believe there may be permissions issue with the default directory. I didn’t dig any deeper since I wanted the directory moved anyways.

Hope this helps someone - there are a number of open issues with this error at the moment and I haven’t seen where a Dev as responded to any of them.
