All of our recordings are starting right at their scheduled time, no longer 1 minute early like they’ve always been. I tried to set it to 2 minutes early, but this had no effect. I did a test recording, and saw that it started 1 minute early like it was supposed to, or at least it appeared to, but after it ran awhile, it now shows right on the half hour (9:30) instead of a minute early like it showed before (9:29). Upon trying to play that recording, it did indeed start at 9:30 and not at 9:29. This is very frustrating. This always worked perfectly in the past, and now suddenly all of our recordings are getting a hair cut off.
Make sure the DEBUG is ON, and VERBOSE is OFF on the General Server settings page and then collect and post the debug logs after duplicating the issue.
Are you allowing Plex to remove commercials, which might remove part of the beginning of the program? The recording indeed started at ~11:28 and was finished with post-processing at ~12:01:
These are just the filtered log lines showing recording progress. Here’s the logging where everything kicks off:
Jan 31, 2020 11:28:00.836 [22052] DEBUG - Grabber: Starting operation for 'California Live - California Live' on channel 11.1.
Jan 31, 2020 11:28:00.836 [22052] DEBUG - Activity: registered new activity ba330719-d711-4e57-b3e1-616f35a13cbb - Recording

So it appears to start the recording when intended and records for 30 minutes. Post-processing then takes about a minute and the recording is moved to its final destination.
Hmm, it does seem like that one worked. None of my series recordings have been working like that, however. Going to watch the recordings tonight, and check back if they exhibit the issue as before.
Gosh I feel silly. This problem is officially solved. My time on my PC wasn’t being set correctly for some reason, and that’s the source of the problem.
