Solved: Movies dissappeared after merging them

Hi guys,

I was looking for this issue but couldn’t find a topic.
I tried to merge 2 movies and as I clicked on “Are you sure you want to merge?” the movies dissappeared. I was looking for the files in the folders on my harddisk and both of them still exists but Plex Server won’t load them again. They dissapeared and I have no idea how to restore them in my movie library.

Solved:

  • Cutting the two movie files out of my media folder.
  • Sync the media folder
  • Put the movie files in my media folder again
  • Sync again

I don’t know what happend when merging them and why the movies dissappeared but this is a solution to display them again in the library.
