[SOLVED] Server transcodes HEVC to H264, but Google TV supports HEVC. What's the fault?

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3795
Player Version#: 8.10.0.21911 (816142704)

I have the Plex Media Server operating on a Western Digital DL4100 NAS and the problem here is that the Google TV (with Chromecast) streaming device supports HEVC, but for some reason the Plex Media Server is transcoding to H264 an this results in the video pausing frequent.y…

How can I direct stream HEVC encoded video to the Google TV streaming device?

Edit at 19:03: I think I found the issue and appears to be fixed by changing a Plex Player option. From the network logging on the app installed on the Google TV I found the following:

12-15 18:53:12.946 i: [MediaDecisionEngine] Decision: CanPlay: true CanDirectPlay: false CanDirectStreamVideo: false CanDirectStreamAudio: true CanDirectPlaySubtitle: false CanTranscodeSubtitle: false CanDisplayVideo: true Transcode Reason: The selected subtitles require transcoding to maintain their appearance.

Searching the Plex Player options on the app on the Google TV streaming gizmo I found Burn subtitles option which was set to Automatic, Changed that to Only image formats and the subtitles are ok and the video plays fine. Direct Play is used and PMS is no longer transcoding.
