A lot of my videos show 2016 as the year they came out when swiping down to view the episode info even though in the metadata it is another year e.g. 2003. I’m not sure if this happens whenever I edit the metadata manually but I have some that show the proper year just fine. What’s weird is that it shows the correct date on the episode/season screen before starting a video so I don’t know why it keeps showing the current year when the video is played.
This is what I’m talking about. Year is supposed to show 2002 but it comes up as 2016.

I’m also seeing this.

Still not fixed in Plex 1.6 (4564). I was really hoping to see this fixed after months of it being acknowledged. Most of my shows now show as 2017, which isn’t useful at all.

If you look at past releases, we should see this sometime in April, just my observation.
I can confirm it now currently shows the correct year on 1.7. Marked as solved!
