[SOLVED] Upgraded movie/episode/track not getting deleted

Player Version#: 4.126.1

Trying to track down an issue where any upgraded movie/episode/track get correctly deleted from the file system but not in the plex database so the movie/show/album gets flagged as UNAVAILABLE in plex.

Displaying the INFO for the item shows two file entries, the new one and the old version which has UNAVAILABLE tagged on it. Examining the file system shows only the single new file.

All of these are being upgraded by the respective radarr, sonarr, lidarr which apparently does cause the old file to get deleted but not the actual entry in the database. Logs on either side don’t show anything obvious.

Any ideas where to look?

Wow, been using plex for 10 years and this is the first time I noticed these ‘unavailables’. Had no idea the trash can worked like the article you referenced. Thanks so much!
