OS: Windows 10
PlexPass Server Download.

I noticed that metadata was no longer being fetched for new titles. Then I decided to do the uninstall/reinstall and now I can’t add a library. I have done all the normal troubleshooting with different browsers as well as running as administrator. I’m not sure what else to check, any help would be appreciated.

could be an issue with the agents / python plugins processes
security software / firewall - blocking?

may be just needs a reboot?

After reboot, go through the steps again and then get a screenshot (but showing the time as well) and collect the logs and attach the screenshot and the zipped logs

Here are the errors I found

I was able to resolve this by checking the agent error in the forums and found one of your posts. It was due to a loopback and the proxy. This was due to temporarily installing Webroot, even though it was removed weeks ago the settings still remained.

There are errors in the communication between the python system framework / bundles and the plex media server.

Could you get netstat output so that we can check if tcp port 32400 is free for Plex Media Server to use

Start an elevated command prompt window (Start / cmd ) and right click Run As Administrator
and in the command prompt window, type in this command

netstat -a -b > "%LocalAppData%
etstat2018-Feb-03a.txt"

The command may take a while to complete
Attach the txt file here “%LocalAppData%
etstat2018-Feb-03a.txt”

You could also send me by Private Message export from the registry (export as text file) of
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server

I have this exact problem but am not sure what the fix was for this, can you help me?

Probably was some proxy software that was getting in the way

You can reproduce with debug logging enabled and collect logs zip and attach here with screenshot giving error and time of error

Thank you so for the help I didn’t think to turn off the proxy software I honestly didn’t even know windows had it turned on. That fixed the problem for me.
