Some artwork randomly changes

Server Version#: 1.28.0.5999
Player Version#: 1.49.1.3146-73559c78

Has anyone experienced artwork changing randomly now and then? And if so, any clue why it’s happening?
As an example, I have a film called “Watcher”. When I first added it to my library the artwork was of a woman in a red dress superimposed over a block of flats with one light on. Then, maybe a week later I noticed the artwork had changed to a close up of the woman’s face. And I just noticed today that it’s changed back to the original image.
I stress no server settings have been changed.
It’s possible it may have coincided with a server update (I have them take place automatically).
Artwork I’ve changed myself I don’t think is affected, presumably because that “locks” the artwork.
This happens A LOT. I have a keen eye and frequently see changed artwork for items. “Interceptor” was another one that changed recently.
Any insight appreciated.
Thanks.

Yes, I have a similar thing here.
As for every TV-Show I have a local poster named “show.jpg” for Doctor Who. Some days ago Plex suddenly changed the displayed picture to a completely different one. Rescanning the library several times and copying the file to “folder.jpg” didn’t change a thing. The local file is ignored.
I definitely didn’t change any library setting, local assets are still active and preferred.
Maybe it is connected to the bug mentioned in this forum that Plex randomly starts library scans and changes metadata since the last update.
