Do you download directly into the folders which were added to Plex libraries?
If you do: don’t.

To fix this, I recommend the following:

  1. edit your tv shows library (you are trying to add this series to a Plex library of the type “TV Shows”, right?)
    Go to the “Advanced” tab and ensure that the checkbox “Prefer local meta tags” is empty.
  2. perform the Plex Dance with the whole series.

Additionally, I looked up Pokèmon (1997) on the relevant sources and the title of episode s01e01 is “Pokémon - I Choose You!”, and not “The Departure”.
So I’m wondering which series you actually have there.
