Some files not playing on Plex Web multiple browsers

So earlier this week, I was able to play all my files just fine when at my computer on plex web. Today, I decided to turn on King of the Hill whilst marking some science assignments, and it didn’t load. I attempted some Andromeda as well, resulted in the same spinning circle, with no loading.

Some files play just fine, others, spin and spin and won’t play.

These same files will play fine on my phone using Plex, but will not run on the web app.

So, I finally got an error message. It was s7000 player error.

I found some other problems that got that same error, and turns out it has to do with hardware enabled transcoding. Some kind of error was occurring. If I turn off the HW transcoding, it now plays these files fine. So this must be a bug introduced with the last version of plex I thought.

I then updated my graphics driver, since a new one just got released, and now it is working again. Such a strange issue. Aw well, it’s all done and solved.
