Some files unable to playback on LG TV

I’m experiencing an issue, where some files are not able to play, in the sense that the “play” button is missing from the interface.

I’m also experiencing, that I’m unable to playback some files, as they are presented with not having audio/video tracks, despite them being present.

I have been able to play these files before.

These issues are mostly arising on my LG TV, which is hardwired to the server running on my laptop, but I’m also experiencing issues on my iOS device, which is connecting through WiFi.

I have tried the early access/beta version for the LG TV app, but I was unable to play most files directly, or shuffle whole series, so I’ve opted out of that. I have submitted my findings in the lg-tv-early-access support thread.

I’ve noticed that hitting ‘Analyze’ on the movie brings back the audio/video-track information and the playbutton.

I will still like to know how to avoid doing this manually, every time these fail, and possibly how to avoid them failing initially.
