I did some checks in agent settings , set everything in my language , the library is set in my language to but still a big handfull of Movies is getting english descriptions.
Also , what are cool settings to look into?
I like plex how it is though. But i think i dont get all the potential out of it.
If you are using the Plex Movie agent then all agent settings are in the library settings. The ones in server setting only apply to the legacy agents.
Edit the individual movies and see what they show under Advanced for language as they could be different than the library default.

Thats what i did.
I change the particilair movie to my language but the description is not coming through. Its not the only movie where the description is in english
Did you refresh metadata for that movie after changing it? Can you name one of the movies with the issue? Possibly we have incomplete data for it.
Yes i did a refresh and still the description is in english. I also can’t seem to find how i upgrade to the new plex agent. I got a popup 10 min ago and a while ago but still i see plex movie (legacy) when i go to agents.
I also cant upgrade manually by going to library , the 3 dots, maintain/edit library (dont know correct word english version of plex) → upgrading. I dont see that upgrade option.
Also no fix match option in titel settings .

My heart can’t beat unless you tell it to , slaxx , coming home in the dark , you are not my mother , homebound , deep cover , probably more but this are one of my latest. I tried to change the language setting , then refresh but no changes

edit the library and change the agent to Plex Movie ( the scanner should change to Plex Movie as well) then Refresh All Metadata for the library

I checked the library settings , it already was on plex movie. But when i go to agents i still see legacy. I dont know if this is normal.
Im now doing a full refresh which will take a while.

The server agent settings are all legacy agent settings. If your library is using Plex Movie then they have no bearing on it. Those settings are just there because some folks are still using legacy agents.
I did what u asked but still some movie descriptions are in english instead of Dutch.
OK. I think we might just not have Dutch translations for those movies. The few I checked don’t seem to have them on TheMoviedatabase

yeah. https://www.themoviedb.org/ does let the public edit. Though I have never added a translations. You may want to look at their docs to see how to do that properly. I think they have a forum as well.
Generally we will pick up changes in about 48 hours.

I have this problem now and dont know how to fix.
When i want to resume something my subs dont load. I have this for the first time now. Even after restarting the movie and go forward to where i stopped it still wont load. Only at the beginning it works. On my Sony TV from 2015 plex works very sluggish/buggy/slow. I guess thats normal for a TV that old?
