I’m new to plex, things seem pretty straight forward and went well until I tried viewing movies, this is on the pc hosting plex I have not tried remote or through other players.Plex server plays some movie files others show unknown error (4294967283).
These movies play on other PC’s using vlc but not on the server host computer both with plex or vlc.
If those videos play fine on a different device but not on a specific one (across multiple apps) this implies there might be an issue with some basic media codecs / playback capabilities of that PC.
Any common aspects to the videos that won’t play (vs. those playing) – e.g. file format, video/audio/subtitle codecs…?
