Some movie media, and extras, will not play on any players now

Player Version#: 7.10 (22174) (AppleTV) - However, condition exists on all players and when trying to play media on server using web browser.

Music library, TV Show library, Photo library all seem to work (at the moment).

Most media in Film library work but certain media in that library will not work. When I try to play them I get spinning wheel (on AppleTV player for example) and it simply sits and never plays. I get same behavior on other players (web browser, iOS Plex player, etc.)
Behavior is consistent as far as which media will not play and which will play.

Prior to this happening ALL media would play fine. I have moved these libraries from one device (Mac Mini Server to a QNAP NAS drive). Then I moved them back to the Mac Mini server. After moving them back I noticed this happening. Not sure what the problem is.
All media sits on external hard drives connected to Mac Mini. This is not presented any problems in the past.

If your player settings has the option to edit the “H264 Maximum Level,” try lowering it below the recommended value.

I had this exact same problem with a few files, too. This fixed the issue for me.

I never did figure out why instead of throwing an error it simply spun forever like it was buffering…
