I have a show with one season downloaded on my computer. All files look the same and play when i click them, but on plex only some of the episodes will show up.
Would you mind sharing some more details – this is quite vague.
Mostly…
- what agent are you using for this tv-show library of yours (e.g. the new “Plex TV Series” agent or one of the older TVDb or The Movie Database agents)?
- how have you organized those episodes/shows in your file system – most issues with tv content not showing up are based on bad file naming and folder organization

I’m not sure what you mean by what agent? I’m using the web app on PC. The files are organized the same way as all my other media. The naming is the same on the episodes that don’t show up as it is on the ones that do.
Scanner and agent are two components used by Plex to recognize media files and to identify them in order to get their metadata/posters…
You can see what scanner/agent is used by your library in the Advanced tab of that library‘s configuration (… > Manage Library > Edit…).
That obviously explains why they’re showing up nicely
