Set Plex to record several kids movies yesterday but out of 3 only 1 will play, all I’m getting is the spinning circle. Anyone else experiencing the same?
I can pay the TS files using VLC just not with Plex.
Are there any obvious differences between the one that will play and the ones which will not? Resolution? Scan type? Audio codec? It may be a good idea to post XML file info for both the working and non-working files, and perhaps logs (debug, not verbose) from a failed playback attempt as well.
Its a bit hard to fault find 24hrs after the event. To be honest I think I’m just going to go back to Channels DVR it just works as it says on the tin so to speak.
Just as a quick followup…
Recording that worked was a SD movie resulting in a file approx. 1.56gb the other two were HD resulting in files around 4gb in size. I’ll have to test another HD recording tomorrow.
