I have the same problem! Why isn’t this issue being addressed and fixed?

Still an issue for me… This was going to be a huge solution for my life but I guess it will not be.
Keeping it alive! I still have thousands of tracks that lose their name. These are Audience recorded concerts that are all properly and meticulously tagged. Can we get a fix?
So guys I think I had more or less the same problems you guys have. My music started to lose track title and album covers and stuff like that. I have everything in right order when it comes to folder structure and I use Mp3tag and so on but one day it just Plex fcked it all up… BUT! I’m not sure how I did it 100% but now I have everything working again.
What I did was:
- From home, checked my settings for the music (right click, “Manage Library”, “Edit…” and have this selected.
- Scanner: Plex Music,
- Agent: Plex Music.
Album Sorting: Library default.
Genres: Plex Music
Album Art: Both Plex Music and Local Files
Checked everything exceped for “sonic analysis”

Then I went to over all settings, Agents and double checked that Local Media Assets was checked on Artists and Albums.

Went to Troubleshooting.
- Clean bundles
- Optimize Database
That was it, then I head over to music again and Refleshed all metadata.
Like I said, not sure if it works for you guys but maybe for someone!
