Some trailers won't load

Both my NVidia SHIELD tv Plex, and my Windows PLEX server : When I try to play Trailers (for example in the DISCOVER area, some players won’t work (only spinning orange circle) while other players play perfectly. (My streaming providers work without any issue, so I guess it might not be any internet issue on my side) When I tried to access a trailer which was not working on the above devices, it worked perfectly on my mobile Plex application.

examples:
trailer for - NO HARD FEELING - WON’T PLAY
trailer for - Transformers: Rise of the Beasts - PLAYS WITHOUT ANY ISSUE

I have lifetime plex subscription and I am in Hungary - (might be any IP restriction for certain countries for some plex trailers???
Any idea?

A Plex Pass subscription won’t have any bearing on trailers in Discover. Those are free for all.

Do you mean the web app? The server is not a player

I can play the the trailer on the Shield fine but it is spinning indefinitely in browser. Thanks for report

Yes, I mean both the web app, and the SHIELD TV Plex app has the same problem.

OK thanks. I pinged our content team about it. I’m not sure if a player issue or some issue with some regional restriction on content that I may not know about.

(if that helps to track down this specific issue from your server’s side)

I start to suspect that those trailer work which I watched until a few days ago, but no new trailers load. (about this however I am not totally sure)

Thanks you but don’t share your IP publicly. Just knowing you are in Hungary is enough. I can already see your IP based on you signing into the forums if we need it.

I got the spinner as well in the web browser and I am in the US. There is something flakey going on with that title No Hard Feelings, it does not even list a trailer here https://watch.plex.tv/movie/no-hard-feelings-2 which should be the same as app.plex.tv afaik

Thanks for the warning. Please note that the No Hard Feelings trailer was just an example. More trailers don’t work me now than how many do work.

Understood. I let them know it was only an example and there are more that exhibit the behavior
